I'm Andrew Bartels, M.H.A., book author, lyricist, musician, and the human behind the name Bram Friedrich von Korvach. I'm a huge music fan, and love bringing my musical creations to life.

For those of you who are excessively worried about AI, here is a full disclosure: Yes, I do use (some) AI tools as a part of my creative process. Modern musicians everywhere are adopting these tools: It is no different than the invention of the electric guitar, digital looping, or the invention of the saxophone.

I also use my own self-created non-AI audio authoring apps (a DAW toolchain is just plain archaic - this is much more advanced) to edit stems and master tracks at 1536kHz 64-bit (not a typo). Masters eventually get downsampled to the 48kHz 24-bit versions you hear on streaming platforms. My mastering process results in a detailed 24-page analysis of the audio characteristics of each song, aiding me in correcting audio blunders before they get released.

The end result is a professionally mastered track, highly listenable and enjoyable at the highest fidelity possible on modern streaming platforms.

My perspective on AI: It's really too bad that some so-called "artists" are flooding the music space with thousands of "AI slop" songs.  That's not what Bram Friedrich von Korvach is about. You won't get slop from me.  Every song comes from my own creative and technical talents, whether artifacts were created by AI or myself as a human. I'm about producing the very highest quality music using modern tools.

If you're still skeptical about the use of AI as a human-controlled tool for music: It's certainly your right to hold that opinion. I invite you to not listen if you don't enjoy my music and to not inhibit others from listening if they happen to like it.

Consider this: I personally don't like lawn mowers because I feel that a using an advanced tool like that is a terrible way to cheat your way into having a nice manicured lawn. All those slop grounds keepers aren't real creators. It's clear that the mower is doing all of the hard work there. Frankly it's unfair to the rest of us who are stuck shearing grass and weeds with with our bare hands in an attempt to comply with HOA rules... ;)

A final note: My growing popularity and fan base indicates that people really do like the music I produce. For one thing, it's great music. And I continue to improve as I learn new techniques and gain more skills. Regardless where the music industry goes, I will continue creating amazing musical art pieces that will impress the socks off of you. Or at the very least, your socks will be impressed. ;)
